Fundraiser For Almost Home Rescue In Maine

We had a fundraiser for Almost Home Rescue in Maine just in time for Valentine’s Day. It breaks my heart hearing stories about animals who need safe and loving homes. It is so horrible that animals are being euthanized because there is not enough space in shelters to take care of them. That Is why adoption and foster homes are so important.  All of my dogs are shelters dogs and so will all of my future dogs.  I am trying to convince my family that we should start fostering too.  I am worried that every dog that comes into my house I will want to keep as I fall in love easily with four-legged creatures.  I hope that you will all consider adopting or fostering a dog or cat or bunny…. in the near future.

FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS at the dog wash Dog Wash Etc,  and Dana Berenson Photography has hosted a Valentine’s Kissing Booth to raise money for Almost Home Rescue.  Almost Home Rescue is a non-profit all-breed rescue organization dedicated to saving lives and finding forever homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs in danger of euthanasia. They do great work nationally and here in Maine

Check out Almost Home Rescue if you are thinking about being a foster parent, or you’re looking to adopt a dog, or you just want to donate to an amazing organization.   These folks work hard to make a world of a  difference in a dog’s life.
